Website privacy notice

Who this is for: anyone who visits liitora.com or reads this guide.

Before you start: nothing.

This notice covers the website at liitora.com and this guide at liitora.com/docs/. It doesn’t cover the Liitora service itself. The privacy policy for the service will be published before the service launches.

The website is run by Liitora Oy, a Finnish company. For the data described here, Liitora Oy is the controller. You can reach us at hello@liitora.com.

The website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from other companies. It has no forms and no accounts.

To send you a page, the servers that deliver it see your IP address and what your browser asks for, such as the page address and your browser type. Every website works this way. We use this only to deliver the pages and to keep the website working and safe.

UpCloud, a company in Finland, stores the pages and delivers them through its content delivery network. That network runs on servers of Bunny.net, a company in Slovenia, in the EU. Neither company gets anything from us about you.

We are confirming with UpCloud whether its delivery network keeps a technical record of requests, and for how long. This notice will say so once we know.

The Request early access and Talk to us buttons open an email in your own email program. If you send it, we receive your email address, your name if your email program adds it, and what you write. We use it only to answer you and to talk about early access. We delete it when it is no longer needed for that, unless you become a customer.

Under the GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, and object to how we use it. Email hello@liitora.com. You can also complain to the Finnish data protection authority (Tietosuojavaltuutetun toimisto).
